The Thermogram

Thermal camera selector

Find the right thermal camera for your use case

Describe your need in a few answers: use case, budget, working distance and the size of what you want to see. The selector rules out devices that don't fit, flags the ones it can't verify, and ranks the rest by suitability score.

Results are calculated from the specs manufacturers publish alone. This site currently has no commercial affiliation and no selection is made by hand. How the suitability score is calculated.

How to read the suitability score

82%
60%: the use-case score. The comparator's score out of 100 for the chosen use case, taken as-is.
distance
40%: resolution at your distance. What the device can distinguish, or reliably measure, relative to the size of your target.
to check
Essential data not published. Price, field of view, close focus, or documentation too incomplete to score.

Budget, format, temperature measurement and focus are conditions: a device that doesn't meet them is excluded, it doesn't lose points. A suitability score depends on your answers and cannot be compared from one search to another.
